TIME: 20 Minutes

SET UP: 3 equal-sized grids ( 3 players in each grid) - 3 bibs - 1 ball 

INSTRUCTIONS:  3 players in all 3 grids, 2 non-bibs, and 1 bib to create 2v1, Player in grid 1 starts with the ball and passes to the player on the same team in that grid. Who then tries to pass the ball to the same team in the following grid and so forth. the ball has reached grid 3 the ball is then played back to grid 1 either by a long pass or back through the grids.

When either of the bib players gains possession of the ball, they play it into the middle and create a 2v3 game where they try and keep control for more than 5 passes. Once the non-bibs regain possession the ball is played back to grid 1 and the process starts again.

CHALLENGES FOR PLAYERS:

Look to move the ball safely through the grids by making space.

Communicate with others on your team

Scan the area where is the opposition, can I safely move the ball forward into the next grid or do I play back to my teammate in my grid.

COACHING POINTS:

- Player observations are they looking around 

- Communication between players

- Movement on and off the ball

- Pass appreciation is the ball making good contact with the player to who the ball is being passed to 

- Decision-making, is the players making the right decision to move the ball forward 

- Are the player pressing to win the ball
