Turning Exercise: Hook and Pull

This soccer move is another technique used for changing directions quickly and with complete control of the ball. In this video Bobby Burling explains and demonstrates the Hook and Pull move.

Coaching Points

  • Shift weight to inside leg.
  • Pull ball with outside foot.
  • Push the ball away to distance yourself from the defender.
  • Maintain a low center of gravity.
