Organization:

Field 25y wide x 15y long. Three teams of three players. Two teams play on ball possession, one team defends. Rotate the defending team every 90 seconds.

Variations:

How many interceptions can a team make in 90 seconds. The team with the most interceptions wins. A point is scored by a defending team when they connect one pass after an interception.

Coaching Points:

Attacking Team:

Receive the ball with the back foot, open up. Pass the ball with the correct speed to the correct foot.

One of the two players on the long side should check into the center when the ball is on the opposite long side. As in W-passing.

Defending Team:

Work together, stay together and attack the ball at the right moment; bad 1st touch, difficult pass (too hard or high), ball in the corner.
