Back plays ball up to center. Center must be facing properly to receive ball and make a good turn. Center takes one touch and decides which gap to pass up through. As soon as center receives, first winger in each line makes a sprint up through the gap. Center plays the ball deep into the gap for the winger to un onto. When winger catches up to ball, they take one touch at most and then play the ball up field and across just into the 18. As soon as the winger reaches the ball, the other sprinting winger cuts toward the goal to finish off the cross.
The center is not allowed to cross the line with the ball. The center is also not able to touch the line with the ball. The pass must be a crisp, accurate pass without touching the line. We wait too long to pass before defender is on us. Head up and get rid of that ball ASAP.
