Corner Kick Principles 

Our centrebacks and our centre midfielders are the tallest and we will ask them to be our most physical players while defending in our penalty area. 

winger (11 or 7)  and 10 are to defend near or farpost runs 

11 or 7 cover short corner

9 starts our transition 

2 and 3 cover near and far post (must pay attention if the ball is played short back from the line in order to take the pass back option away from the corner kick taker to put him in an offside position.
