Set Up:
12-15 players are set up in the attacking third, with players starting at the cones. The Feeder begins play with a pass to either one of the attackers (in green in the diagram), and play continues 2v2 to goal from there. If the defenders win the ball, they can score in the two small goals set up just outside of the penalty area. On goals and balls put out of play, the Feeder re-starts play with the next set of attackers and defenders.
Coaching Points:
1. Use feinting and turning moves to create enough space to turn.
2. Look for 2v1 combinations, particularly the takeover and the overlap.
3. Make a positive first touch towards goal and improve your shooting angle.
Progressions:
1. Start with a pass to the defender closest to goal.
