Set Up:
12 players are set up in the attacking third, playing 4v4 in the central grid, with two neutrals stationed outside the grid. The four attackers play keep away inside the grid and look to pass the ball to the attacker playing along the 18. Once the pass is made, the two neutrals make runs forward to receive a thru pass and two attackers plus one defender cross over into the penalty area to play the cross from the neutral. On goals or balls put out of play, the Feeder re-starts play inside of the grid.
Coaching Points:
1. Hold the run and/or check away until the neutral is prepared to cross.
2. Maintain possession until a good opportunity to pass in to the 18 presents itself.
3. Make the overlap run into the box, and look for the cross at the far post.
Progressions:
1. Three attackers and two defenders cross over, creating a 3v2.
