Set Up:
There are 18 players set up on a field split into three zones, playing 8v8 in the central zone. During the game, all of the players must stay inside the central zone until an attacker plays the ball thru into the attacking zone. The attacker runs onto the ball and finishes on goal. When a goal is scored or a ball is put out of play, the game is re-started in the central zone by the Feeder. One point is scored for a successful thru pass and two points are added for a goal. Games are played to eleven points, win by two.
Coaching Points:
1. Fade out wide, and then make the blind side run in behind the defender.
2. Play one or two touch soccer in the congested central zone.
3. Make a positive first touch towards goal and create a better shooting angle.
Progressions:
1. Allow players to shoot from the central zone.
