Set Up:

12-16 players start at the cones, with the lines on the same side of the field working together (Players 1 and 2, Players 3 and 4). The drill starts with a long pass across from Player 1 as Player 2 runs into the middle. Player 2 makes a short pass for Player 1 to run onto, and he touches the ball off for Player 2 to shoot. The players switch lines, and the drill continues with the next ball. After 5-10 minutes, the lines switch to the other side of the field.

Coaching Points:

1.  Player 2 initiates the play by calling for the ball as he runs out.

2.  All of the passes must be kept on the ground.

3.  Play one touch passes when you can, use two touches if you have to.
