Set Up:

Ball 1: Pattern Play to Goal - The ball is played backwards in the midfield, and is then swung out to the left wing. From there, the winger (Player 4) plays an up back and thru combination with Players 5 and 6, ending with Player 4 dribbling towards the end line. Finally, Player 4 crosses to Players 5 and 6, making the runs to the posts.

Ball 2: As soon as Ball #1 is finished, Player 7 takes a shot from the top of the box.

Coaching Points:

1.  Receiving - Open up with your first touch when you switch the ball out to the flank.

2.  Timing the Runs - Extra touches on the up, back, and thru combination will force Player 4 to hold his run.

3.  Finishing - Start the run to the far or near post just as the winger takes his last dribble touch.
