Set Up:

There are six players set up in the attacking third, with players starting at the cones. The goalkeeper starts at the corner of the six-yard box.  To begin the drill, Player 1 plays the ball back to the goalkeeper, who turns and distributes the ball out to the other side to Player 2. Player 2 speed dribbles to the cone, then drives the ball across the field to Player 3. Player 3 re-starts the drill with the other goalkeeper. The players rotate clockwise during the drill, and the goalkeepers move the starting point over to the other side of the field after 5-10 minutes.

Coaching Points:

1.  With the first touch, the goalkeeper should open up and look to the opposite side.

2.  The goalkeeper should be up on his toes and ready to run with the ball.

3.  Back passes should be made as early as possible to discourage runs at the goalkeeper.

Progressions:

1.  Lead Player 2 up the field with the pass.
