Organization
Area: 15y x 10y.
Players split into groups on each side of the grid, between the goals. Defender starts with a 1v1 move, then passes to the attacker. Attacker tries to score on two small goals; defender can also score on two small goals. Switch sides after each turn.
Goal: Improve players’ ability to beat an opponent in 1v1 situations.
Equipment: 4 small goals, balls, cones, bibs.
Coaching Points
Attacker:

Receive the ball properly; adjust distance from foot depending on defender.

Dribble with speed using laces or outside foot.

Keep eyes on the ball or use peripheral vision.

Keep the ball close when near the defender.

Make your move at the right moment.

Explode after the move and shoot quickly.

Change direction if defender blocks a goal.
Defender:

Approach quickly, slow down when near attacker.

Stand angled, knees low, elbows bent.

Move feet quickly with small steps, force attacker wide.

Win the ball at the right moment.

Explode after winning the ball and score quickly
