Two groups on nine players split up into six groups of three. Three different zones for three different exercises.
Zone 1: Fun games - King of the ring, develop skills, tricks and turns, small touches, close control, fall in love with the ball
Zone 2: A specific skill - This can change on a weekly basis. Examples - passing, shooting, dribbling etc.
Zone 3: Small sided game. Players have the freedom to play 3 v 3. Encourage creativity, trying new tricks and skills, improve basic positioning.
1. Get as many touches on the ball as possible during the session.
2. Practce your skills at game speed.
3. Give equal attention to attacking and defending during your small sided games.
