This soccer drill is not only a great conditioning drill, but it can also incorporate passing because it is important for players to work on their focus as they get tired.  A minimum of eight players and one ball are required for the drill.  Set up the players as shown in the diagram.  The first player will run to the cone in the middle and cut back towards the next player, receive a pass, give a pass, then cut back to the middle cone.  The player repeats this series until they work their way around the circle back to where they started.  Make sure plyers are making sharp, quick cuts away from the middle cone and is calling for the ball before the pass is made. Add a variation to the drill by having the players on the outside pass the ball to other playes and making the player in the middle read where the ball is going before they make themselves available for the pass.
