Explanation:
Split the group in half, with players either stationed at the cones on the outside or in the middle with a ball. At the signal, the players with a ball dribble it to a player on the outside and leave it for them, saying “See you later, Alligator!” That player must then dribble the ball onto the field and lay it off to another player on the outside. The object of the game is to get rid of your ball quickly and not be in possession when the Coach blows the whistle. Players caught with a ball perform exercises as a penalty.
Coaching Points:
1. When running with the ball, touch it with the shoelaces.
2. Reach around the outside of the ball to cut it sharply.
3. Look up between dribble touches.
Progressions:
1. You must dribble around a player on the outside before leaving the ball for another.
